theres no food shortage in real terms. just the poor country cannot afford it. go do some research n look at certain local supermarket how many tons of expiry or so call not fresh food are being throw away aka destroyed. it happens everywhere. they even destroy tons of corn just to make sure the price is right. its just speculation.
current mkt is due for mild correction next week.
buy on dip. certain stocks are oversold must really buy hhahaha :)

I have been watching this counter and sellers are very aggressive today :P
Though I must say its pretty cheap atm.... SGX might have 5-10% increase in volume after they start the full day trading in april....

No doubt STI Will close negative today.... We may test 3000 sometime this week. We wont see 2800 for sure unless major events happen.
STI is still in the uptrend... we might see sideway movement STI range around 2980- 3040 Range for march.

Rise in price will hit everything... not just transportation.... It will only truly benefited those who owns oil field...
One should really ask is the demand spark the rally of oil prices or speculation of events happening in Middle east that spark the rally.... Its totally 2 different case :P

i think 2.04 is a tough resistance and cosco will need to breakout from 2.04 to chiong further.
i've placed my bet and now just waiting to see how it plays out..... if it breaks out successfully from 2.04 then good for me.... if it does not and my stop loss gets triggered, i accept this small loss.
when placing a trade, be it going long/short..... always need to have a stop-loss and have to accept the stop loss if it happens, because even if the chart shows us all the signals to enter a trade(eg severely undersold/overbought, indicators all pointing to reversal etc), there is always a chance for the market to not go the way we want.
calculate the risk-reward. see whther the bet that you want to take has an acceptable risk-reward to you before entering.

Theres limited no of BB in SG mkt.... STXOSV has been played from $0.70+ to $1.30+ ..... they have switched to other counter.... Remember like you say there are other counters too.... if other counters are more rewarding .... BB will dump and play other better counters...
Dont be emotional with stocks and dont always use historical price as a gauge..... It will require a fresh stream of positive news inorder for STXOSV to be in favour again. Which is quite unlikely atm

When STI went down 10-20 points. It went down 4 cents
