I finally see japanese really take the nuclear crisis seriously. They failed to act fast. I really hope countries that own nuclear plant will learn the mistakes that the japanese made in this crisis. However now there is hope that this crisis could be contained. I expect some good news tomorrow :P Good luck for those who brought today. There might be a relief rally for the efforts 50 faceless japanese hero did :) I respect them. Salute !

if chart can predict the next day.mkt. hahaha everyone should have quit their job n make.millions.in stock mkt. TA only shows the past. it might.show theres support today but there might.not be there.tomorrow. true.trader do.not look at chart they only follow what do. they close & open their trade within 1 day. i can only hint u. :)

Technical Analysis on STI

STI index has remains supported at the major support at 3040 and trend sideway.

1) In weekly charts, a black candle stick with long upper shadow (Shooting Star) affirms investors are mindful of the 3120 critical resistance and prefer to take profit.

2) The weekly trading volume falls as the Singapore school holiday kicks in.

3) MACD and RSI indicators are neutral as RSI trend sideways.

4) STI is currently supported by the critical support at 3040

5) STI 3040/200 days MA support is expected to be strong and it is critical that STI must remains above this level to boost confidence in the market sentiment.

Important resistance of STI: 3070 (Daily charts)

For now you can kiss goodbye to those 3 Nuclear power plants it will take years (2-5 years)to restart or rebuild it if they are allowed but unlikely. Problem japan facing right now is Food, Water and Electricity. 1) Food in terms of Rice as tons of as rice field has been cleared. China Mingzhong 2) Water infrastructure destroyed. (Road, Bridge,water pipes etc..) 3) Power Plants need to increase its capacity to meet its power shortage japan is facing. Power plants & infrastructure cant be built overnight... therefore power generators will be deployed at once to ease the power shortage. In mid term to long term japan might not consider nuclear energy at all. Therefore it only comes down it a few fuels that we know. Coal, Solar, Wind, Biodiesel, Oil. Among Coal and Biodiesel should be short listed (Solar & Wind power are not constant). Theres tons of coal around and its cheap but it has pollution problems. Biodiesel will be a better alternative because of Cheap & Clean biodegradeable and safer to store. It has been quite successful in US where biodiesel is used to power its poeple. Even in Singapore we are testing using algaes as biofuel. Within weeks.... we will expect demands in various commodities increases. As rebuilding of Japan started to kick in. If No Wrong We will see Mini Bull Run by Next week or Early April. Also I find it really annoying how some nations using other nations in its own interests. Look at libya and if you really understand whats going on... its disgusting. What they want is oil and just because the owner favour another party, the other one try to create a revolution.... Its all about resources atm.... cant be really specific at public forum... Really Really I really hope WORLD PEACE.

Another Magnitude-7 Quake Is Probably Coming To Japan Within Days

The biggest aftershock from the Japanese monster quake is likely to come in the next few days.

Japan's Metereological Agency says there is a 70% chance of at least a magnitude-7 quake in the next three days, with a 50% chance in the three days after that, according to Japan Times.

Dozens of smaller quakes followed the Friday's magnitude-8.9 quake. A magnitude-7 quake would be the biggest, equal to the one that leveled Haiti last year.
