If SIA launch a new budget airline next year, then if will most likely to sell Tigerair share cause there is conflict of interest. I think best to cut lost or take profit now. Tigerair share may reach $0.7 or even lower if the SIA news is truth.

No risk no gain. My broker advice to buy , saying BB will be buying up more at $1 before 31 Aug.

It seem to be stable today at $1.025 , should be able to substain and move higer once the grounding is lift. BB will slowing accumlated be 1 aug 2011.

x 0 		SINGAPORE : Tiger Airways will resume flights between Singapore and Bangalore in south India from October 31.

The service will launch with four flights a week - on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays - and tickets go on sale on Friday, Tiger said in a statement.

The budget carrier had stopped flying to Bangalore last year.

Meanwhile, Qantas Airways said on Friday it has extended a special fare offer to customers of the Australian arm of Tiger Airways who cannot fly due to the grounding of Tiger's Australian unit until August 1.

The fares apply to Tiger passengers who had been booked to travel until July 31, Qantas said in a statement.

Great News: In the latest new report (bu channelnewsasia) : The new chief of Australia's grounded Tiger Airways said its Singapore parent was " absolutely committed" to the budget carrier and " everything necessary" would be done to get it flying again.Tony Davis said he was confident the airline would by the end of July overcome safety issues which saw it grounded.

The board of Tiger Airways is absolutely committed to the airline here in Australia," said Davis, until this week the president of parent group Tiger Airways Holdings.

" My appointment is a tangible demonstration of that commitment."

" We're committed to a long-term future and I think Australians want us to be here to ensure that there is competition in the air sector," he added.

In addition to CASA's investigation, Davis said Tiger was conducting a " comprehensive" internal review to satisfy itself that its services were " safe and viable" and ensure it had a clean slate.

" It's about a fresh start, it's about addressing that anything that needs to be addressed and it's about having a long-term, viable, safe airline here in Australia," he said.

Singapore Airlines holds 32.9 per cent equity stake in Tiger Airways Holdings, and it has said it has no plans to reduce its share following the Australia grounding.

Had not heard of capital group selling recenting. But for sure SIA and Temasek is still holding tight to TigerAir - they want consider taking full control by buying up more of the share at the discounted price now.

My broker had advice to buy and accumulate when it is low. It should move up once the grounding is lift by 31 July.

Good chance to profit when it move later in August.

Will get the divident next week.People will be loading this before the XD to get the divident. So probably, will head up to the north.

Get news that SMRT  intent to operation the new MRT line, hope it get it soon.

I agree, anyway the ban is only till 1st august but not forever. Tigerair had also announce a new direct line to phillipine and cuba which is good new.

Australian regulators want Tiger ban until August


SYDNEY - Australia's aviation regulator on Wednesday said it would seek a court order extending a flight ban for budget carrier Tiger over safety issues until August.

" CASA is seeking a continuation of the suspension until 1 August 2011," the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) said in a statement.

" The application will be lodged at the Federal Court in Melbourne."

Rumous from a reliable source say grounding will be lift by friday. Hope it is true then Tigger will cheong. I had vest 100 lot at 1.03.
