Regardless of the TA , Mermaid is quite a good undervalue stock . We just heard of its net backing ( NTA ) n fair value weeks ago when everything looked good . So for  those who missed  it could try to accumulate as the price is  coming down . The reasonable entry point may be at 48 cents .

Hi Bintang, hang man also needs to have a lower shadow (the tail), which is at least twice the height of the real body as well.

So i can say it is actually not a hang man. Besides, a bearish hang man

should occurred at a market top or during an uptrend.Smiley

From the Chart, we can see the short term EMA falling faster, thus crossing the long term EMA n moving below it (f.y.i i'm using 12 day EMA & 26 day EMA to see).

It represent a reverse in fortune n like what u mentioned a possible downtrend.

Besides the Mermaid MACD signal is weak as well.

Lastly the rebounce yesterday is not strong as well like what u say............

I thk currently don't buy first, wait for better signal..Smiley

I hope I might  be wrong , but according to the chart , the long term EMA has crossed the short term EMA  n head down , any rebound might  be blocked by the EMA  n turn down , it must take some time to go sideway before a strong bound n cut the EMA to do the reversal .

Mermaid made a technical rebound today still could not cross 56 cents ,  it may go the way like Swiber did ,yesterday Swiber  made a rebound , but retreats again today . I think this is because of the 200EMA  is functioning . The picture is clearer now .

The last time i got in was at 0.98. N that weeks later profit at $1.45.

If really price at 0.85 & 0.9 is available, it is worthwhile to go in fr a ride.Smiley

Actually alot of traders are hoping for China Sport to drop somemore so as to get cheaper value one.

Why, bc in actual this company is ok one.

Just remember in real life nothing is fixed.

And up & down of a stock can also be affected by results of the economy outcome. If u think the market is really bearish, keep on sideline, don't buy any stock.

*N take note: next weeks alot of news affecting the STI index will be released. So see for yourself.

And must remember:

"It isn't as important to buy as cheap as possible as it is to buy at the right time."

The technical rebound looks quite positive but it will be unsustainable ,because the price has already fell below the 30EMA which is at 56 cents ,  the current rebound also stops  below this point . We would have the clearer direction by closing .

Yup........ but oil price been down for a while, not sure if it has stablised.............

Actually tonight Dow outcome also play a part. The possibility for a bull, i will put it as only 40% possibility.

Btw China Sport fortune depends alot on Dow tonight too. If Dow fall badly, Smileyomg.

Hi Bintang, i interpreted it as Mermaid formed a Inverted Hammer Pattern today. It maybe a bullish sign depending on next day trading day outcome..

Bullish sign can be confirmed in the form of the next day opening is above the inverted hammer’s real body.

The larger the gap the stronger the confirmation will be. A white candlestick with higher prices can also be another form of confirmation.

(Emm as usual is a discussion, if wrong feel free to point out Smiley)

The trend of mermaid looks really bad , even the market made a technical rebound , mermaid still went down n broke the 55 EMA  . If  the market would rebound strongly tomorrow , may be it would be the last chance to escape .
