Direction is up on Stoc and down on MACD, if the 9 Day EMA is not going down then the stock is expected to rise. Bolly seems to be narrowing. Morning Note say profit drop expected, so HOLD was the verdict by the Phil. Tom's view is in the next few weeks all the mid and small caps are going to drift down and safe heaven is who??? No prize for guessing...hehe

Yanlord is being played at the moment, fundamental is strong, ignore the noise and do value investment, my tea leaves at the bottom of the cup tells me it will suddenly shoot up and hold there for a long time (BB shift up the gear). Wait for this pattern to happen again. Land bought, so when property built and sold then RMB comes in. I am expecting the profit to jump in the next round of result.

OK folks, get ready to buy this one, company is solid, property boom in China is still on, stronger than Singapore many times, despite tightening of credit a bit. They have got some land and in a year time will turn them into RMB. down trend is fantastic for good company. Mean LELONG time!

Haha, it was a joke, you did fell for it....I must say read those financial reports especially the buy and sell reports bankers published with care hor.

Apart from you and I, Coal can actually generate methane, the process is not very cost effective due to the process currently available and the type of coal used. This is a vision, one day when the oil price hit the roof, coal will be back and methane gas will be used. Did you watch Discovery Channel today? Electrical Jeepney is the one that will be most practical, and can reduce co2 and affordable in most part of the world. Electricity will be generated by initially methane and later wind and solar when affordable. So coal may have a life again when the process is available.

CNG=Coal derived Natural Gas ???

Nearly fell off my chair.

Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) is a fossil fuel substitute for gasoline (petrol), diesel, or propane fuel. Although its combustion does produce greenhouse gases, it is a more environmentally clean alternative to those fuels, and it is much safer than other fuels in the event of a spill (natural gas is lighter than air, and disperses quickly when released).

CNG is made by compressing natural gas (which is mainly composed of methane [CH4]), to less than 1% of its volume at standard atmospheric pressure. It is stored and distributed in hard containers, at a normal pressure of 200–248 bar (2900–3600 psi), usually in cylindrical or spherical shapes.

Hey, anyone read this ? What do you think? Blind mice bidding up the price out there after the company bought a Nigerian flour biz? Are we chasing paper value or real value with this old lamb? or simply RMS "boh chun"?

Sold 80% yesterday, left a few to play-play. The counters I bought b4 xmas went up a lot over the last few days, not greedy and offloaded them as I expect corrections which actually happened. So I go for a few days break and come back to roll the dice a gain. Index target 3K will be breached soon but needs a few roller coaster rides like most market when it hover around psycological barrier.

SGX only show these, no insider trade news yet. I think some people was waiting to free up money tied up on this when it fell to 4c and could not sell, now may have sold it when it hit 5c. - 5.5c. As this one was very thinly traded for the last few months (value wise). I am holding for brighter future, wish me luck. Caltex raised it pump prices, energy will hit the roof, and people  convert their car with coal powered.(always see those green sticker CNG=Coal derived Natural Gas)...haha...Car sales in China is on the increase, need more steel and definately use more coal. Now the steel price and coal price is the lowest for a long time, so buy at low and sell at high...make sense? Maybe & maybe not..depends on what timeframe..

As there is no major capital expenditure coming in 2010, this company will reap in huge profit from its floating factory in South Pacific as turn swimming creatures into seafood delight.

Just like the huge floating fish factory lurking around the South Pacific....

Posted: 19 November 2009 0011 hrs Photos 1 of 1 Workmen putting the finishing touches to the Lafayette, Pacific Andes' version of a mothership - a floating fish factory, touted as the world's biggest in its class. QINGDAO, China: Integrated seafood company Pacific Andes International is positioning itself to ride the next big wave, which it believes will come from the South Pacific Ocean. Its new flagship factory vessel will go into operation next month, and this is expected to help raise the profit margins at its fishery business to as high as 50 per cent, up from 35 per cent. Workmen are busy putting the finishing touches to the US$100 million vessel, named the Lafayette. It is Pacific Andes' latest version of a mothership - a floating fish factory, touted as the world's biggest in its class. The vessel is set to sail to the South Pacific Ocean at the end of the month, and its target is to catch 300,00 tonnes of fish - the equivalent of twice what Hong Kong consumes in a year. Designed to stay out at sea all year around, it will be supported by five super-trawlers and seven catcher vessels that will pump the live catch into the Lafayette for processing. The vessel is able to freeze 1,500 tonnes a day, and the fishes will then forwarded directly to their destination. Ng Joo Siang, managing director of Pacific Andes International, said: "With our traditional fishing business, we have EBITDA of 35 to 40 per cent, that the margin and our net profit margin is way exceeding 20 per cent. "So with Lafayette, which is more efficient that other fleet that we have, we believe that with this higher revenue and higher profitability, we should be able to provide good return to our shareholders." Also helping to boost the Hong Kong-listed company's bottomline is its new processing plant in Qingdao. The new facility is able to handle 60,000 tonnes of fish fillet annually, and its efficiencies has reduced cost of sales by up to 15 per cent. Pacific Andes made a name for itself by supplying a then-little known white fish – the Alaskan Pollock. Today, the fish is widely used by fast-food chains such as McDonald's. The South Pacific venture offers two new lines of growth – Peruvian anchovies and Chilean jack mackerel. The latter will be targeted specifically at the African market. "We have decided as a company to expand heavily into Africa, we want to have a pan-African distribution concept," said Ng. "We believe this continent will have great growth potential, greater than even China, so that's an area we're targeting. Eventually, we hope that in five years' time, China and Africa can be equally important to us." Pacific Andes today holds a 15 per cent share of the total imported Chinese fish market.

Yes, all share holders, nothing much just get a new auditor.

Worth noting the share price has dropped 25% since the last report and the revenue has dropped 55% due to over capacity of steel mill, so coal no buyer. Cost of sales also dropped 56%, it looks like the salesmen has gone on holiday? Anyway they cant sell so they cut cost.  This guy loss its shine, if you are the director of Abterra reading this, go kick some ass and sell more rather than cut cost. Try new areas....
