Just wondering whether there is any statistic

shown on the percentage of winner gambling

in casinos. 1% winner & 99% loser??????

Anyway, the casino is happy if you win.

They will be very worried only if you don't to

gamble again, hahaha

I first posted in CNA/HWZ:

 

Just my POV after a quick read of the Global Palm IPO prospectus:

1) Much of the earnings come from an adjustment to fair market value of its plantations. Take note!

2) EPS 4.82 cents gives P/E of 9.5, BUT taking out asset value adjustments, EPS is 0.76cents or P/E of 60.3

3) Pre IPO NAV is only 20.31 cents (IPO price is 46c)

4) Most of the trees (87.7%) are post-mature - "peaked". Productivity seems to be roughly in line with Kencana's, but Kencana has a better mix of immature and mature trees.

All in: Not Compelling

All investment carry some form of RISK.

Even money in fixed deposit, there is oso RISK.

Banks around the world with history of more than

100 years can go bankrupt. Anyway, as long as it is

calculative RISK, you decide. Even a country can

go bankrupt, hahaha

At every PRiCE  POiNT,  there are bOth  Buyers and Sellers.

WithOut hindsight, bOth Buyers and Sellers are RiGHT.

bOth Buyers and Sellers  are  nOt  wrOng.

nO Buyer wOuld BUY  if  One thinks  that  PRiCE  will  FALL.

nO Seller wOuld SELL if  One thinks  that  PRiCE  will RiSE.

If  all Buyers think that PRiCE  will  FALL,  nObOdy  buys  and PRiCE falls and falls till ZERO.

If  all Sellers think that PRiCE  will  RiSE,   nObOdy  sells  and PRiCE RiSES and  RiSES  till  INFINITY. 

It is all a matter  of  PERSONAL  PERSPECTIVES

Resistance of genting $0.885 has been broken.

If the support $0.845 has also been broken, does it

means that it will be on the downtrend to find

another support, haha

Today Genting Singapore dropped 1.5% to S$0.86 with a slightly higher than AVE VOL of 64.6 millions shares traded that results in a black candle with little tail at the bottom. It is very obvious that the SELL DOWN pressure is easing and consolidation/rebound will be expected soon



Important Resistance of Genting: $0.885


Immediate Support of Genting: $0.845


MACD: Blue line in progress of crossing down.


My sentiment on Genting: Selling pressure seems to be easing. Therefore I do not expect massive SELL DOWN tomorrow. In fact I expect consolidation or maybe a small rebound on either tomorrow or next Monday unless STI falls or bad news on Genting announced. But again do look out for the support at $0.845.

 Read some comments from other ppl and it seems majority of ppl agree Genting is coming to a bottom as well.
