But SGX is already above its 52 weeks high. N its price too expensive liao. N how far more it can go, i guess we can aga-ga extimate.......if worthwhile to go fr it. Kepland, to my opinion it is still quite cheap to collect. N the return will be better (DYODD)

U.S. Futures Futures on the Standard & Poor’s 500 Index fluctuated before earnings from companies including Honeywell International Inc. and Verizon Communications Inc. Analysts are raising U.S. profit estimates for the first time since credit markets froze two years ago. Wall Street firms raised forecasts on S&P 500 companies 896 times in June and lowered 886, according to data compiled by JPMorgan Chase & Co. The last time analysts were bullish on a net basis was in April 2007, before more than $1.5 trillion of bank losses tied to subprime loans spurred the first global recession since World War II, the data show. U.S. stocks gained on July 24 after Federal Reserve Chairman Ben S. Bernanke said the central bank is “winding down” emergency measures aimed at curbing the financial crisis. Sales of new homes in the U.S. probably climbed in June to the highest level in four months, adding to evidence the housing slump that began in 2005 is stabilizing, economists said ahead of a Commerce Department report due at 10 a.m. in Washington. |

U maybe right. But u need lots of capital to long them. That the only disadvantage. Another disadvantage is some maybe gone if company go bankrupt. But yr few hundreds time profit from other counters may cover that. Hulumas u must be very very RICH........

Even if have, the correction will be slight one (maybe a few days once) on the way. Unless Dow got major bad news. If not, end of Jul to Aug is the time whereby lots of companies results will be out. People will rush in earlier to buy as they worry they can't maximise their profit. End of Aug is the crucial stage to look out fr.......need to trade with care by than. |

Hi yokoosi, Sinostar is a downstream petrochemical producer.... if i am not wrong. This one don't fit my bill due to its type of operating. Thus did not go into it n understand this company, n will not be appropiate to give any comments on it. But i believe there are Sinostar investor up there. Hope they can answer yr question.

I shall list out a few with good FA, but dyodd > Epure a) Beside good FA, water is a need fr human. Recession also need to drink water. And Epure is the leading Chinese water and wastewater treatment solutions provider Epure has good track record in securing projects, its has large growing order book (Rmb 800 million as at end Jun) > Midas a) Got good FA. Benefit fr China simulas package. And got lots of contract. Recent share placement is ++ in their finance. > China Sport a) Besides having good FA, China Sport is a a low-end sports fashion brand that had also capture the China market well. Profit is equally good when compared to China HX . At recession period, i predict China Sport will capture the China Market even better.....as more people will like to save money. This one my opinion. > Yanlord (but too expensive) a) Got good FA, but too expensive now.....so forget about it...
If u see above, u maybe thinking why i didn't pick China shipping industry & commodities. As i feel currently still not their time to shine well. If pick them i may have to hold long....... So currently they are out of my record book.
