Why??????Forget abt $1.30 for the time being.

Wat do u expect from 1Q 2010 result:

1.Profitable, so wat?????? maybe. No dividend or other

benefits for shareholders. Why bother abt 1Q result.

2. Remember start up plus other costs r very high.

3. Financial woos around the world. Very serious problems

Not out of the wood yet.

4. Many many more to be listed here.

How many times I told you not to short this counter?  Don't play play.  If you want to short, short above  $1.30. Hahaha.

200 points in 3 weeks is not considered very drastic yet. Yes there will be rebound along the way but I am saying this is a level tat cannot be breached short term wise, if STI wants to continue to rally above 3000. If breached, then 3000 will have to wait for a few more months first. Smiley

Despite evidence of further integration over the last decades, Eurozone countries are still quite heterogeneous and are likely to remain so for the foreseeable future. It is unlikely that differences in legal systems, financial structures, and various other domestic characteristics, institutions, and preferences will rapidly fade out. Is that a problem? Various commentators have argued that heterogeneity should not be overstated. Moreover, financial based risk sharing will increasingly contribute to smoothing asymmetric shocks.

We have also learned that the costs of slow dynamic adjustment are far above all other costs. It is also still poorly researched and poorly explained to the general public. In essence, this is a cost from not undertaking structural reforms and liberalisations. For many countries, reforms were postponed for too long and would have been even more complex to undertake without the euro: i.e., assuming that peer-pressure and market discipline help. In other words, opportunities should be seized.

Recent events are showing that what has been achieved by the EMU cannot be taken for granted, but needs instead to be nurtured. The EMU needs new economic governance with broad ownership and an assessment of how systemic risks have now changed and are still changing. In particular, fiscal governance must be revisited in various ways. Hence, perseverance also plays an important role for the success of the EMU.

POSB is considered a poor man bank.Look at the customers

who go to POSB, wearing short, top, slippers, and sometime

even clogs.

knightbridge      ( Date: 20-Apr-2010 12:31) Posted:

I like the new CEO.. He start to see the problem with DBS bank.. The customer service standard have drop over the years and he is trying to restore what it is like 10 years ago.. Focus on winning the consumer back..

Long queue at the bank (DBS and POSB) is like a standard.. Calling customer service to resolve take so long...

Compare it with OCBC bank, free minimun balance without services charges..  sunday banking and mbanking first.. is giving dbs a run for the money.. If  nothing is done by DBS, OCBC may start getting a bigger piece of the pie....

DBS and POSB has the support of the general public to becoming what it is today, if DBS forget that
