It was the ultimate inention of ppl attempting it.
In a time went bad but unverified news goes around, its an opportunity.

But you will suprise there are so many kanchiong king out there went see ppl asking low - he will think die la sure dorp lower therefore he too quickly sell lower. Thats where the ploy works sometimes.
If such scenario triger a chain reaction.
The BBs syndicates are pro they can do that, with many accounts sponsored by them. Employ retail traders to coordinate selling or buying action enmass all over the land to make it looks like everyone is selling down or buying up..
But by using so many retail account to trade and manupulate the market its almost impossible to catch them for punishment.
Maybe " Johnny English" can get the job done. :)
Anyway - I am also speculating. A bit pekchek - watch the up 1 cent goes down 2 cent action on monitor :)

I think its about evidence to take action. If this burger, sell lower and 1 lot and buy 100 lots when other without knowing the intent kanchiong sell even l ower which that burger grab 100 lots then he sacrifice 1 lot and makes 99 lots of gains if not more.
If you sell lower is like instant discount ppl will grab so price goes one step down, but if you want to bit higher it depend on the prevailing lowest asking price before the bid can move up ?
Maybe you don't understand how bidding system works.
