No one will want that, unfortunately the stock market is not the place that prevent recession. On the contrary, the economy is the one affecting the stock market. Even if everyone here dump money into shares to pump everything up, if global economy really went down the drain, which hopefully not, jobs will still be lost, housing price will still plunge down and market will still crash. But cross our fingers, no one will ever wish that to happen.
