At last, at least today, SGX look toward S'pore economy expands by 10.6% for 1Q06.
In view of the +ve developments in both d external & domestic economic environment, and barring unforeseen circumstances, MTI has raised 2006 GDP growth forecasts to btw 5%-7%, it previous forecast is 4%-6%. Sources from CNA

Hi prettylisa, FYI: Woww.. +34.99pts to STI 2,548.69pts, correction is on d way, on going, today gain, maybe tmr lost, gain is fairly equal btw big blue chip & China stocks "chin Tien TaTa Ti Cheongg.. liao". Yah, sure everybody lost, oso very good oppunities to buy is got spare$, me keep a few a stocks, no more spare, personnally i like milk, it's bringing in 3000 more cows to grow d farming business. So when it's fully grown, every thing is $$$ & can turn into gold pots, think F&N in d making.

I do nothing, i said watch Luzhou oni last week and it lasted till today on profit taking, down 11cts to $0.96cts co's i scare scare, wait kena hantai kaki. i die die faster memm.. some other stock like milk i keep cos i like it model, it bringing 3000 cows to it farming business, imagine 3000 cow milKING more $$$ in is coming, this round hv to hv some patient.

SGX very small mkt lah..alway look to DOW or even Shanghai to make abit of kopi $$$. Given this 2days with all kind of negative news & even more terrible news like Iran vs US, US vs N.korea, Taiwan/US vs China, terrorist vs d US and d west, out of soo.. many many, d oni and d last one, remember Sept11 or 911. sian liao lah.. will hv to wait out for awhile to go back STI 2600, better go yam cha.

wow.. still got strong supporter at 38cts memm.. given this 2days with all kind of negative news and even more terrible news like Iran vs US, US vs N.korea, China vs Taiwan, terrorist vs d US and d west, still remember Sept 11 or 911. With so many probably and oni one is actual been play out. how long or short such mkt can rise again, mth or year, me think mth is more logical answer.

Like every stocks Luzhou is down by 11cts to $0.96 on a vol of 13.6mil shares traded oso it's China related stock to take their turn to do other stocks a flavour. It take awhile when storm clear and d bright sky appear, my tot, STI2600 is coming again.

Hi prettylisa, u got solid holding power, sold oredi??, sell for a profit, it gd, sell to cut lost, maybe no gd, a better solution sell A(X) shares profit to pay off B(X) shares lost and keep some good fundimental good stocks. What goes up must come down(fast). What's down can go up (slowly). SGX ia a small mkt, it always look to oil, interest rate, DOW, Nikkie, China and etc.

well travelbug. U r rite in oneway but not rite d other way. STI Index 2,513.70pt, -21.13pt, 2000 still a longlong way to go, yesterday all got big big shock, today a smaller one, next day believe even a smaller one. Imagine one throw a stone into water, u can see d ripple movement & it wave slowing down..

mkt is bad, down on a major correction, a very healthy sign here doing a flavour to SGX and d rest of the mkt world wide, if not for China help, bad liao, jus a good eg C luzhou & other China ralated stk.

Can still remember Sept 11 or 911 ??? how long did last ?? b4 mkt coming at it again considering today mkt down 3%, A good sign that it did a flavour to SGX mkt as every mkt is hitting records high. As a reminder always buy within ur mean if one must buy.

FYI: A very health correction as regionally & globally many mkt hit mutli-yr high or new record high, said Song Seng wun, economist at CIMB-GK Reach.
SGX 1.8bil shares, $S2.1bil were traded. China stocks remain at 2-yr high & may hv help d local STI index from further falling.
Sentiment was oso dampened by concerns on higher US interest rates & lacklustre earnings reported by blue chips SIA. Who was the biggest loser, down 30cts to $13.70cts.
Good News here, Oil prices have fallen in Asian trade was at 71.42 dollars a barrel, down 62 cents from late New York trades on Friday.
