yummygd - Why do u think this is a pump and dump? Perhaps u might wish to share your reasoning. This dividend deal was announced in black and white on the SGX announcement boards. While there is a danger they may renege on the 0.08 dividend, there is nothing concrete to dispel this yet. They have also made it clear the whole exercise is to divest their current holdings and convert into a cash company. Rather, the danger will be if they do a China Fish and pay in shares or rights. If you have watch panic selling, ppls just simply dump

whatever shares they have as if there is no tmr,, e.g

clob shares, sars, and more.

May be you are right, but I see it in different way. Unlike the last financial crisis, this time the traders don't just simply dump whatsoever shares crazy and madly. You can find some counters with good fundamental conditions and records not drop so much and in fact, everytime it drops, many shares will be bought by another. If you look at the trading volume of Genting sp yesterday, you will know what I mean. Now any single trader try to look for the opportunity in every crisis, they become brave and smart, no just simply a blind follower.

Be patience and wait for oportunity. Hv a look

at the vol. Doesn't mean that you hv to trade all

the time. Sometime I hv waited for as long as 3 mths.

to do a trade. Just like horse racing, you oni need to

punt 1 race in a days of 10 races or more. Cheers.

Should they be very confident of a resolution pass.. (any drop below should be a buying opportunity for them, why no takeover deal) .. Usually got bargain, management first to mop up the meat, leaving scraps for retail investor...

I didnt do any homework on this counter, just looking at the thread and think... Seem like a sure deal, what are the risk can any sifu advise..
