Likely Soros is seeing something coming, a very uncertain near term future but a very certain % hike in interest rate, either 25% point or maybe 50% point, again who know what happen next like US vs Iran-unclear issue, oil px may settle lower, world cup is over, then what next?, will soros say the next thing. I mean Bernanke got to get to fit into Greenspan shoe and if problem persist. Bush will come to push to get his election going.

I tot U should have bot back at what ever prices before 17:00 hours just to close all shorting deal U make, so that they will be NOooo hang over or left over. I know U knew tomorro U can not really tell what will happen even if U R a very experience stocks trader, so i guess U made a $, U give back more then a $, buy-in, it's always two click above the currnet trading prices and sometime before lunch time.

Banyan Tree performent as good as Thai Brew, down to $0.85 cents or 12.37% from it IPO offer at $0.97cts, wait till honey moon is over before considering to long, like any other ipo offer, cheap can become cheaper. Anyway banyan ipo is not that cheap. Co-ok, Natsteel-ok, ppl not ok, ppl suffer liao.

Offer cut from $1.07 cents to $0.97, it 1st day trading, even lower then d considerated lowest price of $0.87, down from $0.935 to test $0.85 cents. (-13cents or -12.37%), after it honey moon is over, prices may test it IPO price again, likey to be a slow climb.

Singtel share basically is a defensive stocks, good to hold for it dividend and till Oct2006 while SGX is more a punting stock for punters, hold till good time arrive when mkt recover and when this current uncertainty on interest rate hike is over, ppl now is quite to punt on SGX, think it over when to let go when x is right, U have all the time to let go when it come.

hikttty, like i said before it is going to be tough even now, profit drop due to high oil consumtion by NOL ship, anyway hope greed do not get into your way br shorting. I think NOL margin is getting smaller and shorting it even becoming your dangerous games of chance.

David Lim Grp CEO planning to leave on 2nd half 2006, hope by then New CEO maybe a much better one, from my personnal opinion NOL, due to it high oil consumer for it transportation usage w/o oil price coming down, it going to be tough to make good report as before for new CEO.
