Wilmar is now riding high on commodities prices and oso builting 3 more plants for their own production, as price is alway trading in it forward position and well in advance by weeks and months so just been careful i think can help. I was just wondering how it is going to hit it tp price of $1.52 cents when commodities is sliding downward. hard time to achive, that what i'm thinking at this moment.

STI fall by -1.31 points to sti 2487.20 ,hav't crash yet !! however dairy mkt is no good, so almost all red end of today. 1st is oil px and now commodities prices is falling oso hmm....careful, watch out.

Gold is down, Sugar is down by 20% or more define as bear mkt, Oil drop so is copper, Commodities may slide for another nine mths, said Mr Tony Dolphin who help manage S$198 billion Fund at Henderson Global investors in London.

It's keen on tie-ups with Chinese firms; needs govt support.
(BEIJING) Credit Suisse sees alternative energy and private banking as key opportunities as it pushes to broaden its range of services in China, Paul Calello, the Swiss banking group's regional chief executive, said yesterday.
One area is alternative energy, a primary focus of the Chinese govt in its latest 2006-2010, 5 year plan. Credit Suisse, which underwrote a New York listing for Suntech Power Holdings Co Ltd in 2005, hopes to help other Chinese firms to raise capital abroad and is already working on a number of biodiesel transactions, Mr Calello said.
In the medium term, renewable energy was likely to gain the kind of prominence enjoyed by the financial sector, the focus of the previous five-year plan, he said. Wealth management, which has caught the eye of many foreign banks as the number of Chinese companies mushrooms, was another area for expansion.
