FORMER remisier king Peter Lim has become a substantial shareholder in Healthway Medical by increasing his stake from 4.96 per cent to 6.03 per cent.

Last Wednesday, Mr Lim bought 14.56 million shares on the open market through his firm Kestrel Capital Partners. Prior to this purchase, he held 90.78 million shares, or 4.96 per cent.

He paid 15 cents apiece, a price which works out to $2.18 million for the purchase.

If you look at other counters or even other countries' stock market, the trading volume starts to be very very low... Whoever can run already take the profit and run, the rest may stuck and to witness the melt down of region share markets soon.

I beg to differ.

I'm a newbie. Started of CFD trading as I did not have much capital. From April 2009, I invested an initial amount of S$6000 into POEMS CFD. With that 6k, I made about 90+k, loss about 30+k. So I had a profit of $60,000.

I think CFD is useful for low capital players like me but of course have to be careful and don't be greedy.

Waiting at sideline for opportunity. You don't have to

trade daily. Once opportunity come, quickly seize it.

If I can remember clearly, iPunter said never lose your

capital. Always put a cut loss to preserve your $$$$$$.

Patience and time are your asset.

Luck also play a part, e.g. you buy Healthway,

afterwhich Peter Lim bought million of shares and

push up the share px. Good luck to all.

Everybody wait at sideline and if the price not below S$1, seems like boring and meaningless to trade especially during this kind of market environment. Let's see how long the this price will stay, the BBs have money, we don't, but we have patient and time...
