If  'Outperformance'  is based on fundamental and    REAL demand because of REAL needs from  big countries like china and india,    then  one may feel its ok to buy and hold or keep.

But, if  it  is    always  BASED ON  surging of oil price in the  midst of  middle east unrests, then, one must think twice as to buy to keep or not.

Despite the above, am hoping (and for those who bought at its low), it  surges   hihger so as to gain more profit.    ::)

BTW, thought I should sahre with you guys the recent ratings  and price targets given by some investment houses. Be clear, they are not God....

OCBC - Buy, target 0.88.

Goldman Sachs - Underweight, target 0.58.

Nomura - Buy. target 0.90

Daiwa - Outperform, target 0.85

OSK - Trading bbuy, target 0.83

Only Goldman negative. The others are positive.

I  tip ST index at 1000 pts if double dips recession took place in two years time. The word " two years" is just a bait,  likely to  be shortened than extended. Why 1000 pts?  it  a manner of fear burst into a bigger fears and this fear will pass on to the next generation. cycle would proof that finanical sectors will be down for another 10 years (the min),  printed textbook will olso alredi displayed on the shelves, it  shown  the fact, education for future generation...

How to picture this scene :

All the oil fields become  redundant

All the sands become very expensive.  (this might happen) becuse lots of  contrsutrctions going on the whole world  and Sands is much needed.

Oil is the 'MOST TRADED"     non financial commodity. 

World leaders should  ban  this to be traded like other commodity for, it is a 'need' (at least for the present years till new type of alternative being inveted either renewable energy or any others.) and this will reduce price war or  real war killing many innocent lives.

REALISTIC...! I agree with you all. I have many retiree friends, do exercise to prolong their live-spans. They have many thousands of acres of oil-palm and rubber estates in Sumatra, now domicile in Singapore. But, one by one, they suffer strokes, 'sweet-urine', 'soft-bones' etc... One day I told them, your money parked in the Banks and elsewhere, are still not yours, you have to spend and enjoy your life to the fullest while you live is more realistic....

They obeyed, and spend like a Duke, live like a King...Smiley    just tell them, Alaska, Cruises, etc, they will jump into it. What a good life, man
