x 0 		ThaiBev shares was down tumbled down more than 5% in trading on Thurs, after the beer brewer reported a 2% drop in 2nd Q net profit of S$199 mil for first half of this year, as compare to net profit of S$341 mil a year ago or down 10% year ago.

Disappointed meant to mostly vested ThaiBev players.

Attended shareholders meeting yesterday. Full of cliche'd phrases. Chairman's son took center stage.Lack of fluency in English meant that he spent more time meandering around trying to find the right words to express what he really wanted to say . His management team no better. So a bit painful to listen What shareholders wanted to hear was his plans for the company post F& N acquisition. Heard nothing beyond usual platitudes ie working hard, doing best blah blah. Was at a pains to stress that F& N was 130 year old company. Good trophy in cupboard .   Meanwhile catalyst statements to push Thaibev share price sorely missing .

Mad rush for buffet table later. Mainly oldies and pensioners. All   looking terribly famished . All had good tuck-in. Collected two cans of Chang Beer .

First day trading is within expectation judged from last two recent SPH reit n OUE H-Trust Ipo-ed response.

2nd day Mon trading, the downside disappointment may not be the greater then on first traded day, as it attract more yield players. Is oredi tempting but not mouth watering - do trade cautiously.

x 0 		First day debut is for BBs vs BBs, as they distribute, others BBs buy / sell n contra off.
Smaller n or retail players who is tempted, risk missing profit n end up holding to hope to sell higher then what is been bot.

Oni on half a day trading.  Well guessing is over liao...

Closed of @0.715 cents with volume of 137,487.000 mil shr changed hands.

teeth53 thot about this IPO-ing (B4) n after......Happi but just leave it to the BBs. (at best STAG)

Can buy/sell one movement, next movement they can sell and buy.

(Ans - buy/sell or sell and buy - no problem, to a tune of five digital nos on the very  same counter@various prices)

Can retail players do so with their computer which is 1-2 minutes time frame loss? - No right.
