lol.. my fren ask me what it means to be shopping and after sharing , I tot its good to share here too..

in the Stk market.. you must shop like a woman and buy like a guy.

ppl knows.. woman are good at bargainning.. and like to compare in details things..

but they can talk all they want but they become indecisive in buying.. that's where the guy comes in.

before i gtg, remember when longing and holding stocks you long

1) Play what you can afford to lose. meaning to say if you invested 20k, make sure you can afford to lose that 20k (if suspension or coy go bankrupt ..)

2) Put take profit limit. stop loss is impt to minimize your capital loss but usally in a crashed you will have already lost almost everything.

take profit is impt to stop you from being too greedy.

3) Never, ever fall in love with the stock that you long.. ppl usually thinks when they see px go higher and higher.. wah no need to take profit.. love the stock..buy more ...

then when it falls big time or suspend they will start to curse and swear.

some forummers have disappeared today due to their vested counters such as blumont, asiasons and liongold.. I hope they have gotten out liao..cause today is the big example of loving a counter.

it has some biz links with myanmar which looks good but other than that i have no further depth .

To add to my post, I'm also married and has a kid. When I play, I always think of them to restrict my bet. Until now, I have not lose any 1 month salary. Maybe 1-2k paper loss. Thinking of pulling out after reading your sad post....

Both are pretty safe..

however I don't really go for yongnam.. a defensive stock without big risk to gap down side but earning profit from this yong nam pretty slow.. sometimes it stalls for quite a long while if u know what i mean.

One important rule I want to state about holding is

I will no longer post in this thread as the subjectivity on momentum stocks has no more relevance since few weeks ago...

although ppl say this is MY house I beg to differ.. creator of a new post doesn't equate to your house.. this is a public forum, everybody shld be contributing.

I received a number of pm on how I spot a counter, what platform I used etc.

for sharing purpose: I have my own platform which I use to trade current momentum stocks.

for those who trade online, actually you can monitor the daily buy-sell volume as most online platforms have such tools

however the skill here lies-in with the person and how he/she perceives the buy-sell volume. This requires years of experience to build and its differnt from person to person. As you know, I don't tell ppl to buy this , sell that.. I only share what I buy and sell, why? Because everybody has different trading patterns

Sharing of strategies can be a double edged sword.. It may work very well for me, but it may not work well for you when it comes to applying it.

The truth of the matter is so many ppl just want to jump in when some sifu recommend the stock.

The way to go about being a successful trader/investor is to always remember these points:

1) The money you put in to play in Stk market is hard-earn money. Noone here should dictate how you use it.

2) if you believe in point 1 v. strongly, you will do your own research , learn the ropes , pick up personal skillsets that will be unparallel to others.

3) Maintain different accts. Someone once said, never mix your needy funds with your trading funds.
when stk market crashed, you will be in deep trouble.

4) Finally don't overplay... market is always there.. one don't have to keep playing the market on a daily basis... even brokers themselves take holidays to get away.

Hope all these sharing helps one in their path to better trading/investments.

but one thing you must do now, immediately is stop all contra trading.

Give a call to your broker or broking house and tell them to suspend your acct.

nego on the payment scheme as what I read, I know you cannot pay up all your losses.

confess to your wife and every one who can help support you.

Remember: never borrow from legal or illegal money lenders. else u will be in greater regret and distress.

Dear Readers,

I am writing this post to share with all the contra players on what has happened to me as a frequent contra player.

I am in my early thirties and started to play contra 2 years back. When I just started, my contra limit that I played was approximate SGD30k to SGD300k as of today. My accumulated losses (losses net of profits) arising from contra when I just started were also growth from SGD20k to current more than SGD200k. I can make SGD30k a day and lose SGD50k a day. I am now in deep debt and owing bank, family and friend of more than SGD200k. As of today, i still have huge open contra position on AP Strat and Albedo.

I am writing this to share with all the contra players (especially newbies) that if you are intending to start or in the beginning stage of playing contras, please think twice and reconsider. You can make fast $$ and also lose a lot too. I am basically broke now (yes - I am unofficially broke) and I have decided to stop playing contra. My family, career are all badly affected. My wife is suggesting for a divorcement with me and I may be losing my 10 months old baby too. I am into depression, really regret and remorseful of my actions.

I hope this short note will help, hopefully, the newbies or contra players not falling into my situation. I have nothing against investment in stocks (buy and hold for capital gain) but importantly to invest within your means. I am making this post as I think this by sharing my situation with the contra players is the little thing that I may be able to do for the society.

LOL.. tell me how u see its BBs who are not willing to let go and still selling to majority at 5.9 ~ 6.0?

If BBs let go as I said it will be all the way to 5c and below liao.. retailers cannot support px .. lol dont create fear pls.

Yesterday majority sell at 60 and 59, out of which mostly are from the BBs. They will not let go until profit taken. How low only they know. My advise is, dont go in now.

You can tell from today's trade.. there is support..else if BB let go, this one will be down to below 5c for sure..
