To have a steady hand. FED could cut rates twice this 2Q (3rd & 4th), this year by 0.25% each quarter to 4.75%. According to median forecast by 66 analysts in Bloombery News' monthly survey. It will certainly help with 4,000 job losses reported last month.

Chairman of house financial services committee. Mr Barney called for meaningful cut.

Barclay Capital economists abandoned their prediction that FED (central bank) would hold rates till June, it now see cuts at the next three (3) meetings. It also half it forecast growth to 1.5% for 4th q.

A lot of meaningful post posted on Sept 9 and 10, 2007. All pointing to world biggest mkt, a volatile period and a slow down in US economie. A caused concern everybody on inter dependent on each other for trading, may need Yen, Yuan and EU euro dollar for some form of help...if not for US dollar used as a international currency. It would have long drop much faster then expected.

To move with trend after several years, soup will have to move with the crowd and with the new posh mall where ever it spring up...then what about old mall...close down isit beco's cost here for some posh mall may not attract crowd. One thing for sure is most Singaporean is eating out. So there always risk some operator may have to close and some remain or still open for retail business, hoping other rich merchant to buy over it exsiting business and beco's operating cost is very high.

(Setting stage 3 into turmmoil). For a start FED cuts discount rate on loan to banks. What next...? is confirmed FED help two (2) big banks.Smiley

Volume is going lower and softer...A tell tale sign that there is a  lack of or absent from BBs trading....and waiting to pound on it when mkt is good going, then let go on selling into strength...keep some strength, built up and strengthen it, it will often go a long way to strengthen oneself confident w/o fearing, committing to a single mindset of lossing to the market system. like eg all eyes is on US whether going to cut interest rate or not and traders in all but trade as thou...what need to be done by Bernanke to stablize mkt, Ben will do what it take, still a day of big gain and another day of big loss reflexing on keys index indicater, to those who is willingly, this's extreme volatile mkt built on GREED.

Keep some strength and keep it to sell into strength...when where there is a profit, those whom has committed recently...during this few weeks of volatile turbulent but predictable rippling time.

STI will be now even harder to hit a new high as US is the biggest mkt been nudge further into new low, like news of  cutting and laying off staffs, comsumers spending less, data coming out may not be so encouraging, banks having to be prop up and the final straw is to cut interest rate, prolonging the under laying woes. Bernanke hand maybe force and will do what ever it take to mop up those woes by strengthing woes regulation to lay it road to more stablization and the road to recovery is a steady hand, it is a slow and long road thus it volatile it it trading system.

Those whom has deep pocket can keep it even longer and also can buy cheaper if it ever fail to be push up by BBs and other insitutional fund. Those not...reduce your stocks portfolio and good luck to U. Ya !.

Just a word of cautious, trade within mean and stay alert, if not keep away from trading...Smiley

This man. Mr Greenspan (EX-FED), no doubt a very world renow experience man as it express his fear (getting old) and starting to pre-predict....the worst scenario like a fortune god on today Straits Times paper. Sat Sept 8, 2007. That is why his replacement goes to a younger mand called Mr Bernanke who may have a few more magical tricks..Smiley

Today Straits Times paper (Money Page-Sept 7, 2007) Credit card can spend- now takes you miles further. The catch is very clear, SPEND for the next four month$ at least 3,000 thousand or 12,000 thousand, then wondering how next when to pay up ...YA !

Sub-prime woes is now carry into our shore and will slowly breed over the next 5-6 years later....very bad business practice.....after bad practiceSmiley, AngMo way or Cina way is better??.
