Hi benny,

Just ignore all this noises, ask yourself, stare at the chart, do u have faith in Midas and Ausgroup and their TA, see my past chart postings for both counters and set your stop-losses.

Remember my 3 golden mantras and trade mechanically, not emotionally.

Hi risktaker,

It really is springing a surprise on u.

Thus why, I always said, "Patience has its virtue" and forever remember my 3 golden mantras.

It may spring a surprise on u, after u let go, it may goes up, as basically, chartwise it is still uptrend, have not broke below the 65 ema for 2 days continuous and FA wise, solid like a rock with more contracts akan datang..

Personally, I just ignore all these noises, the FA will prevail n eventually it will go up after all these BBs had accumulated enuf after shaking out all those weak faint-hearted holders.

As a trader,  I always remember my 3 golden mantras.

This is just my views, so dyodd n BOSAYOR.

Intraday, is forming a bullish harami just like STI.

Congrats especially to those who followed my postings and chart analysis and dared to buy since last Fri when it presents one of the best opportunity when it bounced off the 15ema with tight stop-loss if it close below the 25ema or 65ema.

BBs are not just into Midas, they are into also many others, eg China Hongxin, Genting, etc, etc,  as long as it is below $1 to $2.

If u are worried about BBs, u should trade blue chips as normally they dun dare to touch it as it requires huge firepower to manipulate it but personally I go for small to mid caps with good FA for better % returns, some of which can be future multi-baggers eg look at Venture, it was once a penny stock turned blue.

I already stressed that Market cannot afford to have an other crash. Warren buffet knows this and commented yesterday.

China now too.

Stock markets across Asia were in the green Thursday, helped by China’s rebound following its lowest close in two months.

The Shanghai Composite Index [CN;SHI  2844.052    58.468  (+2.1%)   ] was solidly higher, led by Yangtze Power, after state media said the stock regulator had approved several mutual funds this week in quiet support to the market, which has dropped 20 percent over the past two weeks.

The China Securities Regulatory Commission granted approval to three exchange traded funds (ETFs) to trade Chinese stock indexes and to two stock-oriented funds over the past several days, media reports said.

"After the index breached a series of key technical barriers earlier this week, sentiment will decide the market's near-term trend," said Xu Yinhui, senior stock analyst at Guotai Junan Securities in Shanghai.

"Shorts and longs are expected to fight a fierce battle ahead of the index's half-year moving average," which is now just above 2,700, Xu said, adding that the mutual fund news should give only limited support to the overall market.

Hong Kong’s Hang Seng [HK;HSI  20336.36    382.1289  (+1.92%)   ] was also firmly in the green, tracking gains in Shanghai.

I just dont like this midas anymore because the way BB is controlling it.

Hi lookgood,

Nobody is perfect, of course not even Buffet as afterall we are not saint but just plain mortals.

Since u said u r newbie, I suggest u read these 3 threads under "General", "Trading Techniques" which I created specifically with newbies in mind:

1. Learning TA.

2. Advices ot newbies.

3. Some recommended good TA books.

My advices is not to hold more than 3 counters at any one time, so tat u can dedicate your full attention to it, good durian, one or 2 is good enuf.

Currently, I m holding Midas, Ausgroup and Straits Asia but tat does not mean u have to follow me, dun ever follow people blindly, dyodd n BOSAYOR.

After reviewing the chart patterns, I noted tat the correction on 13/7 managed to stopped at the 100ema, so for this unique case of Ausgroup, since it had set a precedence and managed to reverse at the 100ema, I will revise it from 65ema to 100ema (just for Ausgroup), and may revise for others on case by case basis if it justifies, flexibilty is the keyword.

My exit strategy is same as for Midas, ie I will exit only if after 2 days continuous close below the 65ema with 2 black lower low n lower high candles, on the 3rd day, there is no bullish harami or reversal pattern, to avoid fakes (to get wat I mean, look at the fake candles and bullish harami  between 13/7 n 14/7).

This is my exit plan, so dun follow me blindly as every individual  has different threshold of pain and strategy, so dyodd n BOSAYOR
