TA only shows the past. it might.show theres support today but there might.not be there.tomorrow. true.trader do.not look at chart they only follow what do. they close & open their trade within 1 day. i can only hint u. :)

Technical Analysis on STI

STI index has remains supported at the major support at 3040 and trend sideway.

1) In weekly charts, a black candle stick with long upper shadow (Shooting Star) affirms investors are mindful of the 3120 critical resistance and prefer to take profit.

2) The weekly trading volume falls as the Singapore school holiday kicks in.

3) MACD and RSI indicators are neutral as RSI trend sideways.

4) STI is currently supported by the critical support at 3040

5) STI 3040/200 days MA support is expected to be strong and it is critical that STI must remains above this level to boost confidence in the market sentiment.

Good News for Singapore Property -

The quack zone countries dont seem to be an ideal place for property investments. People will likely to turn to safe heaven like Singapore and, of course elsewhere in other countries, but, the policitcal and envrionmental stability issues of those countries has to be comparable to singapore.

Price of oil impact should be positive for GAR. Did not really run up when oil was trending upwards to over 100. Now oil retreating slightly should not bring price of GAR down.

What is more telling is that all energy or commodity stocks seems to be resilient. Straits Asia for one went up more than 4.5% yesterday. Even the hot air counter, Renewable Energy, went up half cent.

Noble and First Resources also went higher but Olam was flat. Wilmar, Kenchana and Mewar on the other hand went lower but these could be for their own reasons. Wilmar lower profits from oilseeds as well as going into property developement.

I think at the moment, sentiments are against property counters after seeing all those pictures of destroyed buildings. Best to also stay away from GLP for now.

Japan's quack can bring forth businesses to supplies like below, china is benefiting a lot from this, becos japan will need 20 billions to rebuilt.

- construction material supply

- Any supplies that you can think of

有人 happy, 有人 not happy(those businesses that need the CHIPs, will be affected for quack has destroyed chips manufacturing)

Okie correct me if im wrong. When a major disaster happens. All the aids will pour in. whatever been destroyed will most likely be build in record time.When that happens,the country will be spending alot of money to rebuild.That in turn will creat jobs, n their people will have spending power and that in turn helps e economy. I know its not going to happen at one go n their economy will suffer for e time being but in the long run say 2 years from now (unless bad things happen again) It should be back n running. And in my Opinion GLP is an extremely good buy at current price. Yes No?

Doesn't MRT run on electricity? If there is no increase in electricity cost announced, shouldn't there be no increase in MRT operational cost. In addition, increase in petrol price should encourgae more motorist to take MRT.

Anyway. will MRT every lose money? The cost will be passed on to passenger. Maybe not now but after election :)

If oil surge thru the roof (i.e US$220 per barrel), that will be the day where our government will likely to tell its citizens:

Ban you from driving the car!!! Cos public transports like MRT, buses , airplanes are far more important than you driving a car where oil is at its shortage of supply.

S& P has fallen 3%, so , is there another 7% more to fall ? The previous so call 'Prediction" was supposed to be fallen 10%.

Anyway, hihger oil prices will scrimp consumer purchasing power and in the long run, the effect could be bad for general economy recovery. .

But if you are still gambling here in shares while you allow them to sell tissues, that is something wrong in your family institution which I cannot help. But as I said earlier, if you want help, the only help I can give you is free tissues for you to sell, what more you know the good location well. WIll you stop gambling on shares and use the money to help your mama and papa and your relatives? LOL

We like gold & silver because of the investment return. Like buying share , u also like to take profit right.

Last year silver have move up by at lease 40%, which is 40% return. I recall that some of my friend brough silver at $21/oz last year and now sell at $35.5, return profit is above 40% return. What he did is to open and buy silver deposit it at UOB silver account.
