Political pressure is building up in Asia to the West in lifting Sanctions on Burma...................... United Nations, April 12 (IANS) The UN Security Council has praised the by-elections held in Myanmar as important progress in the country's democratic reform process. " Council members welcome the successful by-election as a historic and critical step on the path to consolidating and strengthening Myanmar's democratic reforms," said Susan Rice, permanent representative of the US to the UN. " They praised the government and the opposition for their conduct of the by-election and for their commitment to moving the country forward," said Rice, the current president of the rotating seat of the council. Her statements came after the 15-member body for the maintenance of international peace and security met in closed-door consultations on Myanmar, Xinhua reported. Rice said the council heard a briefing from Vijay Nambiar, who serves as the special adviser of the secretary-general on Myanmar. " Special adviser Nambiar explained that the election proceeded in a transparent, credible, and peaceful manner," she said. " While some minor irregularities were reported, Nambiar said there were no indications that these had affected the outcome." The by-election, held on April 1, resulted in the National League for Democracy (NLD), chaired by Aung San Suu Kyi, winning 43 out of 45 vacant parliamentary seats. Rice said the election of opposition NLD members to parliament offers a " historic opportunity for more inclusive political dialogue" in Myanmar. She however explained that council members stressed that reform in Myanmar is still in early stages. Rice added that, according to Nambiar, UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon plans to visit Myanmar later this month |

Since Victor pointed out that ChinaFash will cheong..... I have done some research on the counter. 1) Coy has sold most of its business and now only running a cafe business in China which is making money. 2) Coy has enter an MOU to acquire a stake in a oilfield in Indonesian...... If everything works out well..... as we know Indonesian has a lot of untapped resources....... It could potentially become a worth many times its current price..... I just read on SGX announcement on this Coy.... Just pointing out that there is a chance this stock is going to be a gem !!! Good luck Trade with CARE. |

What to expect coming Q2.... 1) Europe Zone Crisis will be back in headline once again lead Actor (portugal & Spain) 2) We expected Greek may leave Europe Zone in Q2 or Q3 as economic condition worsen. 3) China slow down looks intact and any stimulus will not be very effective. As local government may once again use it to fill up the holes from the previous round of stimulus. Bad debts looks worrying. 4) Earnings report should report lower than expect earnings. This might trigger a major correction soon..... Good Luck. I am pretty Bearish atm this is what i feel about the market.... |

lol yesterday lost like 30+k in short losses .... cant believe it crash down at 2pm.... Stupid HSI I cover then it recover... Anyway I stopped my shorts for now going sideline .... for these few days.... Balls run away liao.... Lost like 60k+ in shorting lol for this 2 weeks crazy.... Maybe I should turn long lol ..... |
