how much u lost for yr tis trade

tiancai007      ( Date: 29-Oct-2010 21:13) Posted:

I had let go of MIT at a loss. As many pple know MIT is a dividend share. So it's not logical for the BBs to push the px up to 1.40 maybe until next march when they give out dividends as MIT promise a payout of 7%. So I believe it will remain below 1.10 in the meanwhile. Me not so optimisitic. Thus, no patience to wait till CD period. A lot of opportunity loss.

you are wrong.

that 1st broker is really he got some attitude problem becos later when i wrote in to complain abt him, the client dept pple reveal to me he actually also got other big customers complain abt him too that his attitude is snobbish.

The 2nd broker is more than he like to chit-chat & made friends type.He oredi said if client trade big, he happy, if client trade small like those housewife, he still will treat enquires the same to all. And he will honestly tell me to AVOID taking up his OWN HSE's certain placement ipos if he thinks it's no good but he will use his hp and not his office tel to disclose this honest view to me. Whereas I remembered that 1st broker he said brokers are NOT allowed to say their own hse placement certain ipos not good.

1st broker to him (UOB) maybe U are not so BBs as compare to other bigger BBs, so try 2nd broker, U maybe important to him as he may not have so many BBs to entertained.

In general. Most brokers/Remisiers will have to work after office hours to run all the ground work

you are dead wrong.

A lot depends on each individual broker's character & attitude too. It's not confirmed only depends on how much u trade with him.

I hav 3 accounts with 3 brokerages now. My 1st broker in uob in 2003 I trade VERY big, but that broker not helpful & the way he talk quite rude too. Later in end 2003  fed up with him, I opened another account with a different brokerage, this broker at 1st I trade much smaller with him but he very helpful, in fact, i still remembered clearly when I 1st transferred to him & haven't execute any trade yet but he oredi willing to give me placement 5 lots for a ipo. And he willing to use his hp to call me after office hrs at 7pm too.

Ha ha, changing broker within d same broking hse, without strong reason, d new broker may hv doubt as well.

Generally, brokers r helpful ones, depend d priority loh, ie heavy invester, medium or not active ones liao. Hence, touch wood, if market crashes, d less active invester will be entertained later after d more active investers are being informed n guided accordingly.

No lobang, not KE client, had tikam Munsiong n Anchun IPOs couples of mins ago.

btw, is it possible u ask yr kim eng broker is it ALL Kim Eng ordinary brokers are alloted only 10 lots Anchun placement max, meaning these brokers have the discretion to only give either a 10 lot to 1 single client or give 5 lots each to 2 clients only, meaning he can't give more than 2 clients? After he reply u, can u post what he said here?

Becos that's what my Kim Eng broker told me, don't know he got lie or not?

My 2 other brokerages's brokers say this is not the practise there.

btw, can u remember exactly which day was it last week that yr kim eng broker called u to ask u whether u want ANCHUN IPO or not?

ah_seng1001      ( Date: 18-Oct-2010 16:51) Posted:

i got only a measly 5 lots through placements shares by Kim Eng..

Last week, my broker called in the morning n say 10 lots was available for clients.. by afternooon this had been restricted to only 5 lots.. hmm.. so hot demand meh?? Anyone else encountered the same situation??

For those applying through ATM, its only 2000 lots available for offer.. very interesting huh.. even if this stock is only avg or so-so.. it can still shot up abit due to the limited float
