A NON-EXECUTIVE independent director of Blumont Group, Ng Su Ling, resigned yesterday with immediate effect, the company said in a statement to the Singapore Exchange (SGX).
When contacted by The Business Times last night, the 49-year-old said one of the main reasons for her stepping down was to pursue legal action against Goldman Sachs International and Goldman Sachs Singapore.
She revealed that she has filed suit in the UK, and decided to leave Blumont Group in order to focus on the suit with her solicitors. She also added that she might have to make frequent trips to London as a result.
Ms Ng declined to go on the record when asked why she was suing the investment banking firm.

Lol...I need new blood leh...lol. I usually don't keep counters for more than 1 day. So everyday must find new counters..lol. When I buy a counter, I expect it to move on the same day or the latest the next day. If it doesn't move up, then it is against what I thought n therefore I have to sell. I don't have GRP rights lah. Bro joseeng just told me rights shares trading ends tomorrow. I think BBs going to hoot GRP mother shares tomorrow or the next day. Let's see! Hopefully tomorrow market not soft.
On GMG, this price is currently cramped between 3 MA. It's not easy to break through. Today is the 4th time trying to go above 105 but still failed to close above 100MA n resistance of 104. I will only look at it if it can close above 105. Today got improvement. ..go to 106 day high. It's trying very hard. We shall see...huat ah!

Bro, tomorrow no confident bet leh. Market like turning soft tomorrow leh. I must be careful le...lol. I'm monitoring a few counters like Weiye, C & G EP, GRP, Vibropower, Hu An, Hartawan. Just look look see see first. May not buy any tomorrow unless I sell my other counters. Also, don't really have time to monitor.
